(DAYTONA BEACH, FL—August 27, 2007) – Jonzun Crew’s galactic leader, 200+ million record, video, and ringtone selling Record Producer, Songwriter, and Host of Audition Radio( www.AuditionRadio.com) Michael “Space Cowboy” Jonzun gives 10 year old son & Co-Host, Shali “Space Boy” Jonzun an all systems go on his first solo flight as Host of his own show, Jonzun Radio Kids! The World Premier for this weekly tween talk and entertainment show, is Saturday, Sept 1, 2007, 12:30-1pm (EST), on WPUL 1590AM, Daytona Beach, FL, and streaming worldwide at www.WPUL1590.com and www.JonzunRadioKids.com.

This boy wonder is certainly no alien to terrestrial radio. For over the past year, he has been an apprentice on his dad and mom’s (Cherry), international all-star music talk show, Audition Radio, which also airs on WPUL, in the capacities of Production Assistant and Co-Host. 

Some of the Music Legends, Celebrities, Professionals, and Artists that Shali has had the honor of interviewing with his parents include: Influential Civil Rights Leader & Radio Talk Show Host, Rev. Well his dad  Michael “Space Cowboy” Jonzun of Legendary Electro-Boogie Hip-Hop posse Jonzun Crew (a recognized forefather of Hip-Hop; Source Mag ) is known throughout the galaxy for being a 500+ Multi-Platinum, Platinum, Gold, and Silver Records &  Albums Hit Songwriter, Producer, and Music Industry Consultant who has collectively sold 200+  Million Records worldwide on 13 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductees and 50+ Super Star Artists- -including Mick Jaggar w/ Peter Wolf, P. Diddy,  New Kids On The Block, New Edition - -, he also touts (13) #1, (19) “Top Ten”, and (32) “Top 40” Billboard Chart Hits, and is the Co-Writer of the largest selling ringtone in history (“Laffy Taffy” by D4L; which Jonzun just received ASCAP’s “Pop Music Award” as Writer & Publisher for being “Among the Most Performed Songs of 2006”).

A recent 23 minute interview with Shali on Audition Radio, regarding his new show, featuring excerpts from his interviews with Rev. Al Sharpton, Mr. Walter Scott of The Whispers, and Tiffany is available on-demand at his website, www.JonzunRadioKids.com.  As a point of interest, his interview with Rev. Sharpton at a press conference, regarding the affect of violent and explicit media on our nation’s youth earned him mention in the Daytona Beach News-Journal, The Daytona Times, on MSNBC.com, and garnered the attention of several television news stations.

When asked, “Why talk radio?” Shali responded, “My hope for the show is to get kids and teens to start tuning-in and becoming involved in talk radio regularly. “  “For the most part, talk shows will talk about us [kids], but not directly with us. I want kids to be heard by other kids, adults, and seniors on the radio," continued Shali. The targeted demographic for Jonzun Radio Kids is ages 7-14, and their families.

What can listeners expect? According to Shali, “Jonzun Radio Kids will always bring listeners a whole lot of fun!”  He invites kids and teens around the globe to become involved in his show and website. Jonzun Sr. commented, “While Jonzun Radio Kids will be playing and interviewing signed celebrity young recording acts, we will certainly be breaking young indi Artists.  With the major tween entertainment networks generally providing support to their own acts, Jonzun Radio Kids will serve this young indi Artist niche.”

In spite of busy schedules, Shali will continue to Co-host his parent’s show, Audition Radio, and his parents will be the Producers of Jonzun Radio Kids; promising to deliver top shelf, world-class entertainment every show.  Listeners will be able to hear Shali, Saturdays from 12:30-1pm (EST) on his show, and again from 1pm-3pm (EST) on Audition Radio.  It’ll be like a “Shali-thon”, coined Shali.

Shali feels blessed to have this opportunity to have a worldwide voice at radio, and sincerely thanks everyone responsible.  He understands, not everyone has the breaks he’s had, and hopes his show will continue to inspire and help others to fulfill their dreams by way of giving global exposure to their talents and involvements on his show.  He advises his peers to, “never give-up on your dreams, because the Bible says if you knock on the door long enough, the door will eventually be opened.”

In his spare time, this fifth grade home schooled student enjoys go-karting, video games, reading (he’s read aprox. 1,000 books in his lifetime & has won numerous awards), amusement parks, road trips, visiting museums, the zoo, writing jokes and short stories.  In fact, speaking of writing, President George W. Bush wrote Shali back, with a photo and letter of encouragement to continue to be involved in his community, read, and learn something new each day (both are on his website).
